MARIETTA, Ga. (AP) Authorities say a suburban Atlanta man has died in a fire at a Cobb County townhome complex. <br />

Cobb County Fire Lt. Dan Dupree tells WSB-TV the Sunday morning fire at the Garden Villas complex may have started in the kitchen of one of the units. Dupree says the first and second floors of the unit where the fire appears to have started both sustained serious damage. Fire crews remained on the scene hours after the blaze monitoring potential hot spots. <br />

Neighbors say the man who died in the fire was in his late 60s and lived alone. The victim's identity hasn't been released and the fire is under investigation. <br />
