Arrest made in death of grandmother found hogtied

DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. (AP) Police in Douglasville say a man has been arrested in the death of a 75-year-old woman who was found hogtied in her apartment. <br /> <br /> Douglasville Police Chief Chris Womack told WXIA-TV that 53-year-old Odes Dupree of Douglasville was booked into the Douglas County Jail late Tuesday afternoon and is charged with felony murder. <br /> <br /> Police have said Florene Duke was found dead in her apartment Nov. 10 and some of her belongings appeared to be missing from her home. Womack told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Dupree had been staying in an apartment near Duke and investigators believe Dupree had been in Duke's apartment before. <br /> <br /> Womack says the investigation is ongoing and another arrest could be made. <br /> <br />
