Lincoln County Sheriff Bruce Beggs tells The Augusta Chronicle one deputy was cut on the forehead when he was hit with a glass bottle and another deputy was kicked in the head. <br />

Authorities say the fight happened at the American Legion building in Lincolnton. <br />

Keith Antonio Richardson of Washington, Ga., was arrested and faces two counts of aggravated assault on a police officer. It was not immediately clear whether he had a lawyer. <br />
