GAINESVILLE - Both northbound lanes of Georgia Highway were closed at Howard Road for part of the Friday morning rush hour.<br />

Police said a tractor trailer and a passenger vehicle were involved in the crash. Injuries were reported, but authorities were unsure of the severity of those injuries.<br />

The trailer portion of the rig blocked the two northbound lanes for around two hours.<br />
