CLEVELAND - A 20-year-old man had to be rescued from the side of Yonah Mountain Sunday night.<br />

White County Public Safety Director David Murphy said emergency medical services and rescue personnel were dispatched to Yonah Mountain Recreational Area at 7 p.m. <br />

The unidentified male had suffered a leg injury. <br />
According to Murphy, the patient could not walk out on his own, so rescuers using the fire service ATV made access and transported the patient to a waiting ambulance. The man was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center for treatment. <br />
