GAINESVILLE - The company planning to develop a 36-lot subdivision on Hog Mountain Road near Flowery Branch is asking that the Hall County Planning Commission again table the matter.

Ridgeline Land Planning, Inc., requested at the July planning commission meeting that the application to rezone the property be tabled until August. But, according to the agenda for Monday's (Aug. 4) meeting, Ridgeline is asking that it be tabled again, this time until the commission's Sept. 2 meeting.

At the July meeting, the president of Ridgeline, who was not at the meeting, asked the board via letter to table the plan until August, so he could speak with neighbors about the 22-are development. About two dozen people were at the meeting to oppose the plans. (See earlier story. Link below.)
Also on Tuesday, the planning commission is scheduled to consider a request to table until later this month a request for rezoning that would clear the way for an equestrian center and "recreational uses" in the 2500 block of Webb Girth Road. Keith Mitchell is asking that his application be tabled until the planning board's August 18 meeting.

Another Webb Girth Road project is also on Tuesday's agenda: a request from Dale P. Nabb to rezone 37.25 acres in the same area from Planned Residential Development (PRD) to Agricultural-Residential IV (AR-IV). According to the agenda, Nabb wants to subdivide the property into four lots "and continue a non-conforming use."
The planning board meets Monday at 5:15 at the Hall County Government Center.
