White County issues boil water advisory for some

By Dean Dyer WRWH Radio

CLEVELAND - White County Water Authority Director Edwin Nix reports that a boil water advisory has been issued for customers who live in subdivisions that use a pump station.

Nix identified those locations as Logan's Ridge, Spring Crest and Mountain Lakes.

The power was off at those pump stations and for safety proposes the EPD requires  a boil water advisory, Nix said, adding he hopes to have test samples back within the next 24 hours.

As with the boil water advisory for Demorest Water System customers, customers should boil all water used for drinking, cooking or preparing baby food. That water should be boiled for at least one minute after reaching a rolling boil.
