GAINESVILLE - IMS Gear recently celebrated the 20th Anniversary of its Gainesville operation and announced a new apprenticeship program with Lanier Technical College.
The apprenticeship is in Mechatronics, a synergistic combination of precision engineering, electronic control and mechanic systems.
IMS Gear employs nearly 300 workers in Gainesville, manufacturing gears for various automotive and mechanical applications.
