GAINESVILLE - The Hall County Board of Education has approved the hiring of Thomas Harp to become Finance Officer for the county school district.
Spokesman Gordon Higgins said this is a new position created to support the Finance Department under Deputy Superintendent Lee Lovett.
Harp is a Certified Public Accountant with 16 years experience in audits of state and local governments. He currently serves as Deputy Director in the Education Audit Division of the Georgia Department of Audits and Accounts.
