Police probe killing after man found dead inside Lawrenceville home

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (AP) Police are investigating the killing of a man whose body was found inside a home in the Lawrenceville area.

Gwinnett County police said officers received a tip late Tuesday night about a possible death. Police say officers were sent to the home on River Station Court northeast of Atlanta, where they found the man dead.

Police said the man had at least one gunshot wound, and investigators were awaiting an autopsy to determine whether he had other injuries.

Few other details were immediately released.
