Gwinnett police continue investigation of Lawrenceville murder

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (AP) Police are investigating the killing of a man whose body was found inside a home in the Lawrenceville area.

Gwinnett County police said officers received a tip late Tuesday night about a possible death. Officers were sent to the home on River Station Court northeast of Atlanta, where they found the man dead.

Police said the victim, identitified late Tuesday as 25-year-old Jeffery Anderson, had at least one gunshot wound, and investigators were awaiting an autopsy to determine whether he had other injuries.

Few other details were immediately released.
