CUMMING — Forsyth County authorities confirmed Thursday a dog found dead in a park last month died from strangulation.
Dep. Epifanio Rodriguez said preliminary results from a necropsy indicate the female boxer mix died as the result of being hung from a tree. At the onset of the investigation, Rodriguez said people hiking in Bethel Park on November 21 found the body of the dog in the tree.
The deputy said they have no suspects in the case at this time.
