NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. (AP) Pasco County Sheriffs' detectives and federal agents have arrested three men in connection with a large-scale methamphetamine network.
During a news conference Monday, Pasco Sheriff Chris Nocco said the suspects were part of a larger network involved in trafficking meth from Mexico, through Atlanta and down to Florida.
Nocco says the men moved some 500 pounds of meth a year into Florida.
All three suspects face federal charges of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine. The suspects face a mandatory of 10 years in prison or up to life in prison if convicted.
