Hall Co. Master Gardeners ready for annual Spring Expo

GAINESVILLE - Hall County's master gardeners once again are welcoming warmer weather with their annual Spring Garden Expo on April 3 and April 4 at the Chicopee Woods Agricultural Center on Calvary Church Road.

 

The 2015 event features more than 50 plant and garden goods vendors, plus garden art, photography and food vendors.

 

In addition, four speakers will offer free sessions on the following topics:

 

Friday, April 3:

 

11 a.m.   Becky Mensinger/Using Art in Your Garden

1 p.m.     Rudy Kiefer/Weather Patterns and How They Affect Gardening in Georgia

 

Saturday, April 4:

 

11 a.m.    Jim Seymour/ Critters in the Garden

1 p.m.      Bob Bradbury/ Beekeeping 101

 

Friday hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Admission is $2 for adults; children are admitted free of charge.
