GAINESVILLE - Veteran Hall County Fire Services employee Chad Black has been named Deputy Fire Chief.
Black has been serving as an interim in the Deputy Chief's capacity since August 25, 2014 . The announcement of his appointment came Monday morning.
Black has more than 29 years of experience with the Hall County Fire Department.
An announcement on the Hall County Fire Services Facebook page said Black "brings a wealth of knowledge to the administrative staff. We are excited about this permanent decision and look forward to a bright future with Hall County Fire Services."
