It took an extra day to get the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Richmond International Raceway in, but for Kurt Busch, it was worth the wait.
Busch, who missed the first three races of the season while under suspension, scored his first victory of the 2015 season in a race delayed by almost 24 hours due to rain.
Before shaking off the rain and heading to the high speed, unpredictable high banks of Talladega Superspeedway, we take one last look back at the Richmond Race weekend.
Busch outdistanced teammate Kevin Harvick for Sunday's Sprint Cup win. Afterwards, Busch talked to the media about the win and about his team. We also heard from Harvick and fourth place finisher Jamie McMurray.
Dawsonville's Chase Elliott made his second NSCS start of the season, turning in a respectable 16th place finish. Elliott talked about his race afterwards, and about the decisions that went into his top 20 finish.
On Friday night, Denny Hamlin dominated the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Richmond, leading 248 of the 250 laps that made up the event. Afterwards, he talked about having a car as strong as his Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota. We also heard from second place Joey Logano, and third place Regan Smith.
Up next for the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Xfinity Series is a trip to Talladega Speedway at Talladega, Ala., where drafting and 200 mph laps are the norm. WDUN will have live MRN Radio coverage of the complete race weekend.
