EAST POINT, Ga. (AP) A woman accused of making death threats on a social media site against police officers has been put in jail.
Multiple news sources report 33-year-old Ebony Dickens of East Point was arrested Tuesday for a threat she posted on Facebook, calling for death to all white police officers nationwide. She deleted the post hours before she was booked.
The FBI, Homeland Security, district attorney's office and New York Police Department helped East Point police with Dickens' arrest.
Police said they searched Dickens' condo, seizing computers, a cell phone and a firearm.
The Atlanta Journal Constitution reported that Dickens posted Monday under the name Tiffany Milan.
According to the paper the post said, “I thought about shooting every white cop I see in the head until I’m either caught by the police or killed by them… Might kill at least 15 tomorrow, I’m plotting now."
Dickens has been charged with disseminating information related to terrorist acts.
