By AccessWDUN staff

GAINESVILLE -  Wednesday was a day to celebrate the accomplishments of those who made the 2014-15  United Way of Hall County campaign a success. Organizers and volunteers gathered at the Gainesville Civic Center to talk about money raised, but more important, about lives impacted through the efforts of United Way agencies.

United Way President Jackie Wallace told the audience that United Way chose to continue the theme of "Connecting the Community" during the annual campaign.

"We’re all in this together. We are all connected and interdependent. We must all collaborate and do our part," said Wallace.

Part of that connection, of course, is the financial giving that supports United Way member agencies. United Way Campaign Chair Melissa Tymchuk announced the total giving amount for the 2014 campaign -  $1.77 million.

5.    Hall County School System

6.   Conditioned Air Systems

7.   UPS

8.   Wilheit Packaging Materials

9.   Wrigley Manufacturing Company

10.  Gainesville City School System
