SNELLVILLE - Authorities are reporting that three Gwinnett County police officers were struck by a vehicle during an incident in the Snellville area early Tuesday morning.
Two of the officers were injured badly enough to be taken to the hospital. The three apparently were pursuing a suspect in a chase that also involved gunshots.
Gwinnett County Police Cpl. Deon Washington told CBS 46 in Atlanta the shooting and chase happened just before dawn in the Highpoint Road area.
The conditions of the injured officers has not been released.
No information has been released on the suspects in the incident.
