SUWANEE - The Suwanee City Council is set to consider two financial matters at its meeting this week.
The first is a franchise agreement with Sawnee Electric Membership Corporation.
That agreement is a 35-year deal to bring power to various areas of the city.
Council will also consider replacing the lightbulbs in the streetlights in Suwanee Town Center at a cost of $11,326.
The city, if the motion is approved, would replace the existing bulbs with LED bulbs to save energy while increasing the overall brightness of the lights.
Council meets Tuesday night at Suwanee City Hall at 6:30.
