LULA — A late night fire in east Hall County destroyed a double-wide home, and Hall County fire officials said neighbors heard a series of explosions just before the fire erupted.
Hall County Deputy Fire Chief Chad Black said fire units were dispatched just before 11 p.m. to the home on Poole Circle, which is just off Old Cornelia Highway.
He said the building was about 70-percent involved in fire when crews arrived. He did not indicate if there were people at home at the time of the fire.
Black said investigators will return to the scene to try to determine a cause for the fire.
