GAINESVILLE - A mixed-use development on 17 acres near Reunion Subdivision in South Hall is on the agenda for Monday's Hall County Planning Commission meeting.
Friendship Road Development, LLC, is requesting a rezoning from AR-IV (Agricultural Residential IV) to Planned Residential Development (PRD). The site is on Friendship Road near Reunion Way.
The developer is proposing both residential and commercial components. Included are a 139-unit assisted living/independent living, age-restricted facility and 10,000 square feet of retail and/or office space.
The planning board will also be asked to consider a rezoning request from Danny Gilleland, who wants to locate a retail sales/self-storage complex on three acres on Old Plainview Road at Atlanta Highway.
The planning commission meets at 5:15 Monday at the Hall County Government Center.
