ATLANTA — Gov. Nathan Deal and First Lady Sandra Deal will take part Wednesday in the kickoff of a public awareness campaign to remind Georgians of the dangers of leaving children in unattended vehicles.
Since 2010, seven children have died of heatstroke while left in hot vehicles, according to officials with Georgia's Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL).
