BLAIRSVILLE — Mountain Garden Day will be held at the Byron Herbert Reece Farm and Heritage Center near Blairsville June 13.
Events will include "Thrillers, Spillers, and Fillers - creating summer garden pots" by Master Gardener Shirley Cole from 10:30-12:00; a free cornbread tasting event; music and stories by "Women of Heart," and a sale on gardening books . In addition, several potted plants to be given away.
The event begins at 10:00. Admission is free for children. 12 and older: $4. The Reece Farm and Heritage Center is located on US 129 about a mile north of Vogel State Park.
