GAINESVILLE—The Hall County Solicitor's Office placed first for the number of pounds collected in the Georgia Mountain Food Bank's 2015 Legal Food Frenzy.
Employees of the office, led by Solicitor General Stephanie Woodard, collected 956 pounds of food during the annual event.
Meanwhile, Hall County Juvenile Court personnel, led by Chief Judge Lindsay Burton, collected 279 pounds, placing second in number of pounds of food collected.
The Legal Food Frenzy is a statewide competition for those in Georgia's legal community.
The food and monetary contributions stay in our area, helping to serve more than 50 of the food bank's partner agencies in Hall, Dawson, Forsyth, Union and Lumpkin counties.
