DAHLONEGA — A Lumpkin County man is in jail after a raid on an undisclosed location in Dahlonega Tuesday.
Agents with the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office and the Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office found more than a pound of marijuana packaged for distribution. Street value of the drugs was placed at around $3,500.
In addition, drug agents confiscated scales and two firearms during the bust.
Agents said 65-year-old Alton Lamar Grimes has been charged with felony possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
The investigation continues.
