DAWSONVILLE - A gas leak on Highway 53 west of the outlet mall has forced authorities to shut down the roadway while they solve the problems.
Dawson County dispatch reported that the road is entirely shut down between Dawson Forest Rd. and Georgia 400.
Crews had not arrived on scene at 5 p.m., and dispatch did not have an estimated time the road would re-open.
