Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Kit Dunlap welcomes three new staff members to the Chamber team:
Elizabeth Jacobs Higgins has joined the Chamber as Executive Director of VISION 2030. Born and raised in Hall County, Elizabeth was instilled with a love for this area by her father, the late John W. Jacobs, Jr. She has grown to appreciate the Greater Hall Chamber through the work of her father and brother (Jay Jacobs) and their tenure as Chairs of the Chamber Board of Directors. A graduate of Gainesville High School and the University of Georgia, Elizabeth has experienced a variety of work positions and was most recently the director of Core Essential Values, a curriculum and resource company infusing values in public schools across the country. Elizabeth recently married Tom Higgins, a long time Atlantan, who is excited to be part of the Gainesville and Hall County community.
The Greater Hall Chamber welcomes Garrett Wiley as a Project Manager in the Economic Development and Governmental Affairs Divisions. Garrett is responsible for Economic Development sales and marketing initiatives that further job investment growth from existing and new businesses. In addition, he helps manage Economic Development events, meetings and activities. Prior to joining the Chamber, Garrett worked as a Regional Political Director in Northeast Georgia, organizing successful campaigns for candidates. Garrett is a native of Hall County, graduating from Lakeview Academy in 2008 and Georgia Southern University in 2013 with a degree in Business Administration.
Gerri Collins joins the Chamber as Executive Assistant. Gerri most recently served as Banking Officer & Relationship Banker at Independence Bank of Georgia and is a Leadership Hall County graduate. She has been a Gainesville resident since 1989, when she moved here from Jacksonville, FL, and currently lives in North Hall County with her husband Michael and son Fischer. They are long-time members of Lakewood Baptist Church. Gerri enjoys photography, hiking, assisting with her son’s soccer team, and spending time with her family.
