PEACHTREE CITY - Those thunderstorms that have been popping up across north Georgia since about noon could be a hint of things to come the rest of the day and into the night.
The National Weather Service in Peachtree City is warning of the threat of severe thunderstorms this afternoon and into early Wednesday.
The greatest threat is along and north of a line from south of Rome, south of Atlanta to north of Augusta.
About 5:00 this afternoon, the NWS issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for north Georgia until 11:00 tonight.
