By B.J. Williams

GAINESVILLE — The Gainesville Police Department is on the lookout for a man suspected in an indecent exposure case at a local park earlier this month.

Gainesville Police Cpl. Kevin Holbrook said the reported incident happened on July 7 in the Wilshire Trails Park area.

"It appears that during the incident in question, he allegedly exposed himself to this female.  There was not much conversation, not much other than exposing himself.  The female then took herself out of that position."

The suspect is described as a tall, white male in his mid-20s. During the time of the alleged incident, the suspect was wearing gray shorts and a baseball cap with a curved brim. Police released a composite sketch of the suspect Thursday.

"This is the only incident of this nature that we have had reported, but as always, we do encourage citizens to be vigilant at all times," Holbrook said.

He said if residents believe they have information regarding this case or if the can identify the alleged suspect, they should call the Gainesville Police Department at 770-534-5254.

Safety rules, according to the Gainesville Police Department:
