GAINESVILLE — Joseph (Joey) Tripp has been named Fundraising Coordinator for Challenged Child & Friends.
As Fundraising Coordinator, Tripp will work with the Challenged Child & Friends leadership team and board committees to plan and execute CCAF’s fundraising events and projects. He will develop and implement a fundraising plan that will incorporate membership programs, grants, all types of giving plans, sponsorships and events.
“Joey comes to us with a strong fundraising and development background,” said Challenged Child & Friends CEO and Executive Director Amy Gates. “He will work to develop new fundraising efforts and improve existing ones.”
While working on his master’s degree at the University of Georgia, Tripp developed successful grants, fundraising and volunteer marketing programs in the Athens area. He also worked as a public relations & community engagement director and event coordinator.
Tripp holds a master’s of art degree in nonprofit organizations from the University of Georgia Institute for Nonprofit Organizations. He earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Georgia Southern University.
