GAINESVILLE - A Town Hall meeting will be held in the the North Hall area later this month, hosted by Hall County District 3 Commissioner Scott Gibbs.
The meeting, which is scheduled for Tuesday, September 15 at the North Hall Community Center, will be held at 6 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public.
A media release from Hall County Public Information Officer Katie Crumley says that the first half hour of the meeting will consist of an informal "meet and greet" session between locals and various officials from the state and county level.
Following a brief introduction of the officials in attendance, the proceedings will then shift to a presentation by Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Gary Black on the current status of Georgia's agricultural industry.
The meeting will conclude with an open discussion between the officials and those in attendance.
Aside from Gibbs and Black, other officials scheduled to attend include State Rep. Lee Hawkins, State Rep. Carl Rogers, Hall County Sheriff Gerald Couch and Hall County Tax Commissioner Darla Eden.
The North Hall Community Center is located at 4175 Nopone Road in Gainesville, just off U.S. 129.
