BOGART, Ga. (AP) Authorities say two people were killed when a vehicle collided with a semitrailer in a fiery crash in northeast Georgia.
CBS Atlanta reports that the wreck happened around 9:30 p.m. Monday on Georgia Highway 316 in Oconee County.
Police say the vehicle burst into flames after it was dragged nearly 200 feet by the big rig, which was carrying large spools of paper.
The Athens Banner-Herald reports that the highway was shut down for most of the night as the wreckage was cleared.
The identities of the motorists who were killed were not immediately available.
