Drug Take-Back Day in Hall Co. nets almost 260 lbs. of prescription drugs

FLOWERY BRANCH — Safe Kids Gainesville/Hall County reported Monday that citizens turned in a total of 259 lbs. of unwanted prescription medications during Saturday's National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day.

In Hall County, Safe Kids officials, along with the Flowery Branch Police Department, set up a collection point at Kohl's Department Store at Stone Bridge Village Shopping Center.

Take-Back Day is a national effort that allows people to safely dispose of expired, unused and unwanted prescription medications.
