Plans for two large subdivisions on Hall planning group's Tuesday agenda

By Ken Stanford Contributing Editor

Plans for two subdivisions, each consisting of more than 150 lots, are on the Hall County Planning Commission's agenda for Tuesday's meeting.  But, one of the applicants is asking that its request be withdrawn and the other wishes to table the second application until next month.

Century Communities, LLC, is requesting that the planning board allow the withdrawal of its request for 53.3 acres on Spout Springs Road near Quincy Drive.  That application, involving plans for a 159-lot subdivision, was previously tabled by the commission.  (Click here http://accesswdun.com/article/2015/12/355023/plans-for-spout-springs-rd-subdivision-on-hold-for-at-least-a-month for earlier story.)

Green Implementation Group, LLC, wishes to have its request involving 109.98 acres on Buffington Farm Road at Water Lily Drive tabled until the planning commission's February 1 meeting.  Those plans call for a 151-lot subdivision at that intersection.

Also on the agenda for Tuesday's meeting, is a request from Cathy and Roger Little for an agri-entertainment venue on 42.89 acres on Guth Road near J.M. Turk Road.

The planning board meets at 5:15 at the Hall County Government Center.
