By AccessWDUN staff

The North Georgia Technical College Foundation announces that Stovall Machine Products has established a scholarship for the CNC and Tool and Die Programs at the college. The first scholarship will be awarded for spring semester 2017, and a student may receive up to $375 per semester to cover the cost of tuition, fees, required equipment or books.

Rebecca Stovall, Vice President of Stovall Machine Products, Inc., serves on the Engineering Technology Advisory Committee at the college along with her husband, Dwight Stovall.

“The scholarship is an exciting opportunity for Stovall Machine Products,” said Rebecca Stovall. “We look forward to continuing our involvement with North Georgia Technical College.”

“The North Georgia Technical College Foundation is thrilled to receive funding for the Stovall Machine Products Scholarship,” said Cynthia Brown, NGTC Director of Institutional Advancement. “It is an amazing opportunity for potential Franklin County students looking for financial assistance to enroll in the CNC and Tool and Die Programs, graduate and go to work. This investment by Rebecca and Dwight Stovall is a perfect example of partnerships with the college and the impact it can have on an individual, their family and our communities.”

In order to be eligible for the scholarship, a student must be enrolled in the CNC and Tool and Die Program, demonstrate a financial need, complete a scholarship application and be a resident of Franklin County. Scholarship applications are due November 17.
