LISTEN: Dr. Carl Cavalli of UNG on Presidential debate #3

By AccessWDUN Staff
A University of North Georgia professor of political science said both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton were able to share ideas and plans of action with voters at Wednesday night's debate at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.

Dr. Carl Cavalli, a guest on the Thursday edition of WDUN's Morning News with Bill & Joel, said the debate allowed voters to see a clear difference in the game plans of both candidates.

Cavalli gave some of the credit for keeping the third debate more civil to moderator Chris Wallace of Fox News.

"He had a set list of topics and he stuck to it," Cavalli said. "He was willing to jump in if the candidates went too far afield."

Cavalli also noted that in addition to the so-called "never Trumpers" there are also "never Hillarys" - voters who don't personally like their preferred party's candidate and have said they will not cast ballots on November 8.

Listen to the full interview to hear more about Cavalli's evaluation of the final debate between Trump and Clinton.
