Two Gainesville Middle School teachers, Sharla Gladden and Jim Bradley, were awarded Bright Ideas grants sponsored by Jackson Electric Membership Corporation for their innovative classroom projects.
During a surprise visit to the middle school recently, Karen Ewing, Community Relations Representative from Jackson EMC, presented checks to Gladden and Bradley in the amount of $740 and and $843.78 respectively. The teachers will use the funds for purchasing supplies or instructional resources for their classrooms. Gladden teaches science, and Bradley teaches construction.
