If you happen to be in the area of Lanier Tech's Oakwood campus Tuesday afternoon, don't be alarmed if you see police activity.
From 2:30 until 5:30 p.m., the Lanier Technical College Police Department and Paramedicine Department will be conducting a public safety training exercise near Buildings 500 and 700, according to college officials.
They said the exercise will involve police, fire and EMS crews and will look very realistic. There will be officers in full uniform participating in the training exercise, along with emergency equipment on campus. There will be a life flight helicopter landing on campus, as well.
Signage will be placed around the Oakwood Campus indicating that police training is in progress.
