Stop us if you've heard this one before - Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Auto Club Speedway came down to an overtime finish.
Jimmie Johnson pushed fellow California native Kevin Harvick out front on the final restart, then drove around Harvick to take the lead and went on to score his second victory of the season at the Fontana, California speedway.
It marks the sixth win in 22 starts for the six-time series champion at Fontana, and gives him his 77th career series victory.
Harvick, who dominated the race, leading 142 laps, came home in second, with Denny Hamlin in third, Joey Logano in fourth and Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. in fifth.
Dawsonville's Chase Elliott had worked his way up to second before the final restart, but a problem on his final pit stop set him back. He was able to recover to finish sixth in the end.
Afterwards, Johnson talked to the media about the win and about adding to his win total. We also heard from Stenhouse, Jr. about his race, and from Elliott about his finish.
The NASCAR Sprint Cup and Xfinity Series are both off for the Easter break this weekend. The Sprint Cup Series returns to action on April 3 at Martinsville Speedway. The Xfinity Series will be back on track on April 8 at Texas Motor Speedway.
