GAINESVILLE — The North Hall boys tennis team blanked Gainesville 5-0 on Monday in Gainesville -- it was the Trojans' 13th shutout of the year.
Jackson Davis paced North Hall (14-2) with a 8-2 win over Reagan Williams at No. 1 singles, while Dalton Patterson defeated Jeffery Kiser 9-7 at No. 2 singles. Reid Lattanzi also took out Jackson Fox 8-2 in No. 3 singles.
In doubles play North Hall's No. 1 team of Paxton Gillespie/Daniel Martin defeated Roan Thomas/Thomas Carter 8-4. And the No. 2 team of Masa Kobayashi/Matthew Chewning defeated Trevor Munn/Max West 8-4.
The Trojans face Franklin County on Wednesday in Carnesville in a non-region match, as it prepares for the Region 8-AAAA tourney.
