Gainesville school officials schedule open houses for Enota school plans

By B.J. Williams

At the end of the calendar year, the building that houses Enota Multiple Intelligences Academy will be demolished and a new school will be built in its place. To give parents information on how those plans will proceed, the Gainesville City School System has scheduled a series of open house informational meetings next month.

Parents and other interested parties will have a chance to look at plans regarding the new Enota school and to discuss transition plans for Enota’s temporary location for the 2016-2017 school year.

The meetings will be held in the Media Center at Enota on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, April 12 at 7 a.m. (coffee & donuts provided)
  • Tuesday, April 12 at 11:45 a.m. (bring your own lunch)
  • Wednesday, April 13 at 5:30 p.m.
