Hall County Sheriff's Office fires deputy for inappropriate relationship with detainee

A former Hall County Sheriff's Deputy has lost his job following an internal investigation into an inappropriate relationship with a woman who was on house arrest.
 
A statement released Tuesday morning from the sheriff's office said Corey Alexander, 30, of Braselton was terminated Sunday.
 
Alexander had worked in the Jail Division for seven years, supervising prisoners on house arrest.
 
The internal investigation is ongoing.
