A Cumming man has been named to the Georgia Tourism Foundation.
Steve Hallowell is the vice president of marketing for Herschend Family Entertainment, which includes properties such as Stone Mountain Park and Wild Adventures. He was previously a marketing and sales executive for Eastman Kodak Co. for more than 25 years.
According to the state's website, the foundation's mission is to increase the economic strength of Georgia by promoting tourism through public/private partnerships.
Hallowell's appointment was made by Gov. Nathan Deal.
