ATLANTA (AP) Authorities say a Georgia Tech employee has been arrested on sex charges involving another employee.
The university said in a news release Monday that 52-year-old Ernest G. Olivares if Powder Springs was arrested last week on sexual battery and aggravated sexual battery charges.
Georgia Tech spokesman Lance Wallace says Olivares, who is the senior director of housing and facilities management, has been placed on administrative leave.
Georgia Tech police say they were told June 20 about a sexual harassment accusation between a male supervisor and a female employee. No students were involved in the incident.
It is unclear whether Olivares has an attorney.
