Gainesville, Dahlonega, Cumming men get new terms on state boards

Three northeast Georgia men have been reappointed to state boards by Gov. Nathan Deal.

Brian Daniel of Gainesville will service another term on the Board of Governors of the Georgia World Congress Center Authority. Daniel is the president of Carroll Daniel Construction Company in Gainesville.

J.B. Jones, retired sole commissioner of Lumpkin County, who served in that capacity for 24 years, was reappointed to his seat on the Council on American Indian Concerns.  Jones owns and operates a farm and provides consulting and marketing services to engineering firms and developers. 

Steve Nicklas of Cumming also be returning to the Council on American Indian Concerns.  He is an associate professor of Anthropology at the University of North Georgia.
