Another large subdivision on the drawing board for South Hall

Plans are in the works for yet another large subdivision in South Hall, the latest in a series of new residential developments proposed for that area.

The Hall County Planning Commission is set to hear the latest proposal when it meets September 19.

The applicant, J.H. Homes, wants to rezone 101.8 acres on Spout Springs Road near Quincy Drive from ARIII (Agricultural-Residential III) to PRD (Planned Residential Development). The company's plans call for a 184-lot subdivision on the tract.

Since late last year, several such developments have been proposed in that area, including another from J.H. Homes.
