CLEVELAND — A White County Grand Jury has indicted three Cleveland teens in connection with the shooting death of 21-year-old Savon Williams on July 1.
The incident occurred in the basement of a home on Eagle Ridge Trail in Cleveland.
Meeting this week, the grand jury indicted 17–year-old Christopher Tyler Courville on 10 different charges including felony murder, aggravated assault, and violation of the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act.
Courtlen Conner Daniel, 18, was indicted on charges of concealing the death of another, entering an auto, theft by taking, and violation of the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act.
Daniel Chase Wilson, 19, was indicted on entering an auto, theft by taking and violation of the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act.
Additionally, a 16-year-old was taken into custody in connection with the case. At the time of the arrest, White County Chief Deputy Bob Ingram said the juvenile was charged with entering an auto and charged under the Georgia Gang Statute.
Ingram identified all these suspects as being members of the gang BTA (Bout That Action).
According to Ingram, the gun believed to be used in the homicide was stolen from a vehicle in White County a couple of days before the shooting.
