GDOL reminds job seekers of March recruiting events for Lanier Islands Resort

The Georgia Department of Labor’s (GDOL) Gainesville Career Center continues to assist Lanier Islands Resort recruit seasonal employees to work during the summer.

The next recruitment events will be held on Thursday, March 9, and Tuesday, March 14, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the career center located at 2756 Atlanta Highway in Gainesville.

The company is recruiting admission and food attendants, cooks, lifeguards, servers, supervisors and stewards.

Lanier Islands Resort says it needs at least 200 seasonal employees for the summer. 

Applicants must be at least 16, while some positions call for job seekers to be at least 18. All applicants should bring a resume, military identification card, a driver’s license and dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for jobs.

Salaries will depend on the positions.

All positions require that employees be available to work on weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays.
