Forsyth County to host a free Senior Expo in April

The Forsyth County Senior Services "Senior Expo" will host dozens of vendors as well as health screenings at the Forsyth Conference Center April 8.
 
The expo will give local residents, their families and care givers a chance to discuss medical questions with medical experts as well as many other topics at no cost to attend.
 
"The event will feature more ethan 70 venders offering information about a variety of goods and services for the senior citizen market. They will cover topics such as senior living, healthcare, rehabilitation and physical therapy, insurance, technology, homecare, real estate and legal services just to name a few topics," said Senior Services Manager Julie Gruen.
 
"We also offer free health screenings at this event. Those will include vision, hearing, carotid artery (which is a stroke screen), bone density and blood pressure."  
 
The Senior Expo will be the 15th consecutive year the event has been provided by the county's Senior Services department.
